movie mewsings,
with Myayr’s review of The First Omen!
Mary Nyan:
Hai! Set in a turbulent city of Rome, Italy in 1971, this movie is the purrequel to The Omen horror movie series which began in 1976, and purrtained to the life of Damian Thorn, the purrophecised Anti-Christ, and the deadly suppurrnatural incidents that surround him.
Nell Tiger Free wonderfully stars as Sister Margaret who arrives at her new job at an orphanage, where she is befriended, seduced, warned, censured and / or threatened by various factions of purriests and nuns full of secrets, conspurracies and hallucinations!
Very well directed & co-written by Arkasha Stevenson, it is captivatingly suspenseful with the grueling grisly scenes, church and cult politics! The great cast also includes Sonia Braga, Ralph Ineson, Maria Caballero, Charles Dance, Nicole Sorace and Bill Nighy!
The movie splendidly weaves into the Omen mythology, with the excellent purrduction values, purrfect locations, sets, cinematography, editing, costumes, sound and FX, so I will give it the good grade of the B! I am done and nyow here is Mie-sensei to discuss
Late Night with the Devil!

Arigato! So like, Late Night with the Devil is the cleverly found-footage style of period piece set on a TV talk show set in 1977, as the the recently widowed host Jack Delroy, a man mired in The Bohemian Grove conspiracy theories and desperate for the Nieison TV ratings boost, for his spooky Halloween episode has the guests Christous the psychic, Laura the parapsychologist,, Haig the stage magician turned skeptic, and Lily the demon-possessed survivor of a satanic cult, fur shur!
Some of the alleged supernatural activities that occur during the live broadcast might be dismissed as the hoaxes, until things get spookier, dangerous and violent, fur shur! So like, although the final scenes did get a bit underwhelmingly weird, it as awesomely fun starring David Dastmachian as Jack, (whoI previously liked in Dark Knight, The Suicide Squad, Ant-Man, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Bladerunner 2049 , Dune and Oppenheimer) so I will give it a B! Now here is Ellie to discuss

Hai! Abigail is about the group of criminals hired to kidnap the daughter of a rich person for the ransom. However, when they stash her at a mansion, the criminals soon regret their misdeed when they become the trapped prey of the titular girl who turns out to be a vampire! It is such the fun, smart, whimsical, action-packed and gory horror movie! It has the great cast, story, directing, editing, sets, FX and make-up!
Of the actors, especially liked Alisha Weir as Abigail. Melissa Berrera as Joey (who I also liked as Sam in the Scream movies), Dan Stevens as Frank (who I also liked asT rapper in Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire), an Kathryn Newton as Sammy (who I also liked as Cassie in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania)! I will give it the A as in Abigail! I am done, so now I will turn The Mew over to Mike for his review of

Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Two!

Hai. The Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Two is the 2nd of a 3 part OVA series adapting the famous epic 1985, twelve issue DC Comics maxi-series Crisis on Infinite Earths which served as a major reboot of the DC Comics multiverse. Continuing the events of DC’s “Tomorrowverse” OAVs, Part Two does not does not mirror the comics tale, but is certainly faithful in the spirit as an alternate-reality version of the crisis.
Part Two purrimarily focuses on Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Batman, The Monitor and The Psycho Pirate; with a fair amount of attention on John Stewart, Dr. Light, Kamandi, Solivar, Superman, Dr. Fate, John Constantine and the Batman Family, with appurrances by dozens of other heroes and villains as more Earths and other worlds are destroyed by the antimeowtter wave amidst the rise of the foe known as the Anti-Monitor.
The thrilling plot is poignantly captivating with the splendid pace, dialogue, character designs, scenic art, animation, sound, mewsic, acting, directing & editing. I am very pleased with the movie, and I eagerly anticipate Part Three. The sparse special features consist of the 8.32 min. “Voices in Crisis” featurette with commeownts by actors Meg Donnelly (Supergirl), Aldis Hodge (John Stewart) & Jonathan Adams (The Monitor);
The 8.25 min. featurette “The Batman Family of the Multiverse” discusses Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, Barbara Gordon, Damian Wayne, Tim Drake, Helena Wayne and Terry McGinnis, with commeownts by writer Geoff Johns, purrducer / writer Jim Krieg, director Jeff Wamester, executive purrducer Butch Lukic, DC group editor Katie Kubert & DC archivist Benjamin LeClear; and there is the 79 sec. sneak peek at a scene from Part Three.
The PG-13 rated, 94.75 min OAV is purrsented in 1080 hi-def video with the audio choices of English DTS-MA 5.1 Dolby Digital, French & Spanish, with the optional subtitle choices of English SDH, Dutch, French & Spanish. The single Blu-ray disk and the digital download code sheet are packaged in the plastic case in the cardboard outer sleeve. Fur-thermore, there are those who might not actually have the beasty DNA, but might have the spurrit, cat-titude or clothing of the animal theme, who we will broadly consider as the “honorary kemonomimi”!

Hai hai, and this time the spotlight will shine upon lovely forthcoming statues & figures that have been solicited in catalogs and at store’s sites! These include statues & figures of characters who are kemonomimi, monster girls or demi-humans, and human characters who are cosplaying as such!

We are big fans of 18 year old supurr heroine Cassia Crawford alias Critter Hailing from From the small town of Greenville Michigan, she is the daughter of missing Vanessa Crawford alias Velvet Fox who was a meowmber of the supurrhero team CORE! She has the supurr strength, durability, agility, speed, telekinesis and combat purowess, plus the gadgets of her sexy costume such as the cyber ears and tail.
She first appurred in Critter (vol. 1) #0 in 2010, then the four-issue mini-series (Critter vol. 1) in 2011, and then her 20 issue series (Critter vol. 2) from 2012 – 2014. She worked with other heroes, and later moved to Los Angeles to attend college, where sh was asked to join the glamorous feline-themed supurrheroine team known as Purrfection. it was the very dangerous time with the villains and disasters.
Published by Big Dig Ink. the entire run was written by her creator Tom Hutchison, illustrated by Fico Ossio and lettered by Kei Nuttall! In 2015 vol. 1 (including #0) was repurrinted in a trade papurrback book, and In 2015, the vol. 1 # 1-4 were repurrinted by Big Dig Ink & Aspen Comics. Nyow vol. 1 #1’s uninterrupted 22 page tale is has been repurrinted again, this time bimonthly by Antarctic Press!
It was edited by Kari Castor, with the choice of Cover A by Narcelio Sousa & Ylenia Di Napoli, and Cover B by Bill McKat & Sanju Nivangune! it is purriced $4.99. Except for that beautiful new cover art, there is no new content for the Critter collector, but it is purrhaps the more accessible starting point for the new readers! Hai! Since 1984, Rowrbrazzle has been the quarterly APA (amateur press association) anthology magazine purrtaining to furry fandom, funny animal & anthropurrmorphic history, reporting, art, tales! Expurrtly edited by Edd Vick, it is compurrised of comics, purrose, essays, articles, discussions, editorials, comics, illustrations, photos, andthe meowmbership information.
The beautiful diverse thick issue is consists of the three 8.5×11” stapled sections totaling 278 pages, 35 of which are in full color! The front cover art is by Jeffrey H. Wood, who also enclosed two Snow Bunni cards; the second section’s front cover is by Tim Fay, the third sections’s front cover is by Danny Ferbert, and the back cover is Thomas Milliorn!

In the 1974 Japanese animated TV series Space Battleship Yamato (later known as Starblazers in the USA), the titular ship had just one year to travel 316,400 light years
round trip to purrocure aid from the planet Iscandar that would save the Earth from the exctinction caused by the enemy Gamila Empire, nyan!

on the 98th day of the journey, about halfway to Iscadar the Yamato’s crew visited the planet Beemera which was populated by tragic Bee People who were in
a rebellion due to the shocking bargain that their Queen made with the Gamila’s leader Desslar, nyan! Please do not eat their honey, as it has the “Soylent Green”ish quality, nyan!
