Oh I gotta go with It Happened One Night, Tarzan and his Maet, and the Three Stooges! Well, that was another expedient little Lightning Round, and  to continue our movie topics, I’ll start our
TV, DVD & Movie Mewsings, with my review of the
Limited 45th Anniversary Steelbook edition of my
favorite movie, Star Trek – The Motion Picture!
But don’t worry- I promise top be brief this time!  Ah, as some of y’all know, ever since the morning of Friday, December 7th, 1979 when I bought the first ticket for the first screening of Star Trek- The Motion Picture  at the Janus Theater in Greensboro (about  230 miles NW of Catgirl Island), that has been my all time favorite movie, Now, I’ve never said it was a perfect movie. nor have i claimed it is the best movie, but merely that it is my favorite. Since then, I’ve watched the different versions of it many many times. There’s the original theatrical version, the longer 1983 televised version, the 2001 Director’s  Cut, and the 2022 remastered version thereof.
 
This time, I’m just commenting on the new edition, which includes the theatrical vesion and special features on a 4K disk and Blu-ray disk, and the digital code with a lovely booklet in the metal case. As I do not own a 4K UHD player, TV or High Speed HDMI Cat 2 cables, I cant watch the 4K Ultra HD disk nor have an opinion of it. I don’rtuse the  digital code to download or stream movies, so I can’t comment on that either.  The Blu-ray disk includes the movie and the special features which include the Library Computer, several documentary shorts, deleted scenes, storyboards, Trailers & TV spots-  all of which which have been released previously on Blu-ray.
The Blu-Ray’a Dolby audio choices are Enflish 7.1 TruHD, German 2.0. French 2.0. Spanish Mono, Japanese Mono, the isoloated music score, and commentary by Daren Dochterman, Michael & Denise Okuda, Judith & Garfield Reeves- Stevens. The optonal subtitles are English, English SDH, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Danish, Dutch , Finnish and Swedish. The front of the case bears th famous Bob Peak poster art, and the case’s liner is ia large photo of Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Decker ans Ilia (probe) walking iowards V’ger. For me, the real allure is the enclosed 5×6.5” full color 24 page booket which is a replica of a 1979 publicity booklet.
 
The front of the booklet bears Roger Huyssen’s teaser poster art, the back cover has John Berkey’s advance poster art, and inside are storyboards, concept art, production stills, behind the scenes & publicity photos. This booklet is not the same publication as Paramount’s  Star Trek – The Motion Picture Handbook of Production Information, Pressbook, Press kit, or Pocket Books’ Publishing Campaign kit. I read somewhere that a set of photos were supposedly included in the case,, but that seems to be incorrect. So that’s whatcha get! Ah, Now to continue or Trek topics, here’s Jen to discuss a recent short film that moved us all to joyful tears-

Hai. The latest of the short videos by Otoy https://home.otoy.com for the Roddenberry Archive https://roddenberry.x.io, 765874 Unification (the digits corresponding to J.M. Colt’s Starfleet seraial number) is the meowgnificently beautifully poignant  short film pertaining to the reunion of  Janes T, Kirk (who passed away on the 1993 movie Star Trek: Generations) and Spock (who passed away in the 2015 movie Star Trek Beyond. This 10.75 minute short was directed & edited by Carlos Gaena, executively purrduced by Rod Roddenberry, William Shatner, Susan Bay Nimoy, and writer Jules Urbach;
 
…with the mewsic by Michael Giacchino, cinematography by Leonidas Jaramillo, purrduction design by DavidBlass, and visual FX supurrvised by Mark Spatnny. The film uses purractical & digital purrosthetics, real sets locations  &digital extentions to commeowmerate the 30th anniversary Star Trek: Generations and stars William Shatner & Sam Witwer as Kirk, Robin Curtis as Saavik, Lawrence Ellek as Spock, Mark Cinnery as Sorak, Gary Lockwood as Gary Mitchell, Gordon Tarpley as Yor, John Daltorio as Crusher, and Mahe Thaissa as Colt, with several “easter eggs” throughout.
 
For all of us here at The Mew, “765874 Unification” serves as a purrofoundly wonderful coda and mea culpa for what we thought were very unsatisfying depurrtures of Kirk and Spock from their mortal existence. I give this and Otoy’s other short Star Trek films (which can be eat https://www.youtube.com/@OTOY) the highest purraise; I will reccmmend it to all fans of those iconic heroes, and I wish to thank the brilliant cast, crew, advisors, and other folks at Otoy and the Roddenberry Archive. Hai! Since 1910 there have been many literary, stage & cinematic adaptions of Frank L, Baun’s 1900 tale The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and of course the most famous one is the 1939 movie that starred Judy Garland. Of the live-action & animated movie & TV remakes & sequels that I have seen, such as Journey Back to Oz (1972), The Wiz (1978), Return to Oz (1985), The Muppets’ Wizard of Oz (2005), Tin Man (2007), Oz the Great and Powerful (2013), and The Wiz Live! (2015), I think that Wicked: Part 1 is my easiily favoritest !By the way I must admit that I have not (yet) read Gregory Maguire’s 1995 Wicked novel no have I seen the 2003 Broadway version.
i am purrticularly fond of Eric Shanower’s five “Adventures in Oz” graphic novels that were published from 1986 to 1992, but I have stray-catted from this topic! I was very impressed by the captivatingly beautiful purreview trailers, so Wicked is one of this years movies that I have quite eagerly awaited! Firected by Jhn M. Cgu whose movie Crazy Rich Asians U titally loved, Wicked: Part i’s wonderful cast includes Cynthia Erivo as Elphabam, Ariana Grande as Galinda, Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero , Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible, Jeff Goldblum as The Wizaed, Ethan Slater as Boq, Marissa Bode as Nessarose, and Peter Dinklage as the voice of Dr. Dillamond!
There are surpurrise appurrances & easter eggs too! I wish it was not quite as rushed, and I wish some characters were more deveoped, but is the excellent tale of the witch’s origin as the smart, sympathetic character who struggles with biogtry, fear, misunderstandings, manipulations, school life, peer purressure, her uncontrolled power, and the relationship with her frenemy Galinda.  I think it has the great story, directing, purrformances, sets, locations, art direction, visual FX, choreography, mewsic, sound, costumes, hair & make-up! I love the songs, i purrchased the CD, and I give the movie the grade of an A Minus! I am done, and nyow here is Ilyana to review
Moana 2!

Arigato! We loved Disney’s 2016 animated Moana movie and its soundtack CD, so I was eager to see what its delightful characters are up to this sequel, in which Moana and a crew search for a legendary island, but they will need Maui’s help against the supurrnatural threats.The first good mews is that the returning voice cast includes Auliʻi Cravalho as Moana, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as the demigod Maui. Alan Tudyk as Heihei the rooster, Temuera Morrison as Moana’s chief Tui, Nicole Scherzinger as Moana’s mom Sina, and Rachel House as Moana’s grandmother Tala!
 
Pua the pig is back too! The 2nd good mews is they are joined by Hualalai Chung as Moni thestrong  fan-artist, Rose Matafeo as Loto the genius builder, David Fane as Kele the grouchy farmer, Gerald Ramsey as Tautai the ancestral spirit, Tofiga Fepulea’i as the evil stormy god Nalo, Awhimai Fraser as Nalo’s batty goddess servant Matangi, and Khaleesi Lambert who just about steals the show as Moana’s adorably cute widdle sister Simea! The other good mews is that the movie’s character & creature designs, scenic art, visual & sound FX and animation are quite supurrb!
There are many fun and lovely moments, but sequel’s plot and songs did not wow me as much as its purredecessor; there are characters that I wish were more develped such as the villains and Moana’s fan-girlfriends;  plus the pace seemed too rushed, and the movie seems too short and purrdictable, so I will give Moana 2 the average  grade of a C. Hai! Since 1984, Rowrbrazzle has been the wonderful quarterly APA (amateur press association) anthology magazine purrtaining to furry fandom, funny animal and anthropurrmorphic history, events, art, and tales! Expurrtly edited by Edd Vick (who also contributed 26 other pages), it is compurrised of comics, purrose, essays, articles, discussions, editorials, comics, illustrations, photos, convention reports,  correspondances, remeowmberances, and the current meowmbership roster and rules. Issue #163’s theme is “Furries in History” and consists of three 8.5×11” stapled sections totaling 280 pages, 45 of which are in full color!
 

The front cover art is by Mike (who also contributed 12 other pages), the 2nd section’s front cover is by Danny Ferbert (who also contributed 5 other pages), the 3rd sections’s front cover is by Tim Fay, and the back cover is by Mary Bellamy (who also contributed 5 other pages).

Sammiched betwixt those covers are the contributions by many other awesome artists, authors, editors and journalists such as—

ne of the nicest andf most brilliant artists
 who is purrhaps most famous for his Xenozoic Tales / Cadillacs & Dinosaur series and his astounding illustrations of peoplw, landscapes, and creatures, purrticulatly the purrehistotic type!  We have enjoyed his supurrb books such as Storms at Sea, Sub Human, Carbon, and his five Various Drawings books, so I was quite eager to get this meowgnificent book which was publushed last mmonth by Flesk, which is known for beautiful art books!
Although smaller in height and width than the Various Drawings book, Portffolio is much thicker at 10x 7.5 x 1.26”, and this $49.95 trade papurrback book has 431 pages that are brimming with about 450 sumpyuous illustrations, which include all of the pics form the five Various Drawings books, plus 160 images that have not been collected purreviously, plus it has the introduction and annotations by Schultz! The book is also available in the hardcover edition and the limited deluxe signed hardcover ediion.
On the front cover is his sexy scrappy postapocalyptic heroine Hannah Dundee with the spear,  knife, surf bord and the stringer full of yummy fish! I should warn y’all that amongst the many creatures depicted in the book, there are marine life and lizards aplenty, which might cause cravings for the seafood and reptile meat in addition to the fine art, so I will give the book the high purraise grade of the “A” as in Allosaurus! Hai! in this portion of The Mew, we commeowmorate famous therianthropes, monster girls, shape-shifters, anthropurrrmorphic ladies and other kemonomim!  Fur-thermore, there are those who might not have beasty DNA, but do have the spurrit, cat-titude or clothing of the animal theme, who we will broadly consider as “honorary kemonomimi”!
Firstly we wish to shine the spotlight upon the adorably cute widdle kittengirl Maya who is a character in the Summer of Mara video game developed by Chibig in which the players have the fun adventures , purroffessions and cultivvations  in the lovely archipelago, in which she works at the restaurant but would rather be the pirate!!
Seondly we wish to meontion adventurous bunny girl Eve Callusleader of the My Unique Skill Makes Me OP Level manga & anime series of the isekei genre! Voiced in the original japanese series by Mariko Kouno and by Trisha Mllon in theEnglish dubbed version,  Eve has the carrot addiction and supurr meorwrtial arts purrowess!
Thirdly we will spotlight the valiant catgirl Nina Heah of author Necoco’s thrilling, amewsing, Reincarnated as a Dragon’s Egg manga and light novel seriesog the slice-of-life isekei fantasy genre! Nina was the poor slave until she was freed and became the waitress!
Fourthly we wish to meowntion Italian ecchi / pin-up  artist Filippo Curzi (a.k.a. Yum!)’s  illustration of the naked blonde catgirl who is purrched purrone upon a tree branch to grace variant cover C of Penthouse Comics #5  (October / November 2024  issue)!
Nextly I would like to purraise Hallmark for their peppy mewsical birthday card with the catgirl quartet (Tiger Stripe, White, Beige & Dark Brown) on the front that sings a happy birthday song! The message inside the card is “Hope your birthday is just a little wild. Jam on.”!

Misty used the Krita software for “Chibli Gambler”, which is her lovely fan art of Saotome Mary from the “Kakegurui” series, which purrtains to the students at the elite purrivate school where gambling is the way of life, nyan!

Mike used Photoshop an the mouse for his illustration of the Egyptian catgirl goddesses Tefnnut and Sekhmet, which appurred upon the front cover of the Rowrbrazzle A.P.A.’s zine #163; he used the Derwent pencils for the sketch of of our mewlywed friends Jenn and  Sophie; Derwnt pencils, Copic meowrkers, Faber-Castell colored pencils and Sakura Micron pens for the pic of Jenn & Sophie as Gremlins fom the Buggs Bunny cartoon “Falling Hare”; and he used Photoshop and the mouse for the fan art of our friend BondoFox’s bunnygirl friend Cottonlop purracrticing her rope knot, nyan.

I love the pose, expurrresions, lines, colors, shading and details of the Saotome Mary pic which wonderfully capture her likeness and spirit!

We are glad that Jenn & Sophie had the joyful wedding, and that their Gremlin purrsonas are vexing the aggressive enemy planes insteead of ours.

Mike has defintely spurruced up that pic of Sekhmet & Tefnut since I last saw it, and I hope that the other Rowerrazzle meowmbers lik it too!

Hai. In this sequel to Parker Finn’s 2022 horror movie Smile, which purrtains to the smiling demon that possesses people, Naomi Scott (who we liked in Terra Nova, Charlie’s Angels, Aladdin, and Power Rangers) stars brilliantly at pop star Skye Riley, a recovering addict on her comeback concert tour during which she is tormented by the Smile Curse, causing her to question what is reality and what is hallucination amidst numerous scary, gory violent incidents. With the layered curse like Matryoshka dolls filled with hallucinations within hallucinations it is much glitzier, expansive, complicated and meowtafictional film than its purredecessor with songs aplenty and I give it the B+ grade. Joker: Folie A Deux.

Arigato! In this sequel to Tod Phillip’s supurrb 2019 Joker movie which explores a possible origin to The Batman’s arch-enemy, Joaquin Phoenix returns meowgnificently as Arthur Fleck a.k.a Joker who is incarcerated At Arkham Asylum, pending his murder trial, wherein he meets Harleen Quinzel who is wonderfully purrtrayed by LadyGaga, and thusly the romeownce and more brutal assaults ensue amidst several mewsical song & dance numbers. Most of the mewsical scenes are imagined, as Arthur mentally retreats to his ”happy place” in his violent, harsh reality as the film meowtafictionally subversively deconstructs the urban myth of the Joker as an antihero, and I will give Folie A Deux the B+.Nyow here is Myayr to start

Hai!

 I am quite fond of Sakuya Amano’s manga about the fox spirit girl nakai (attendants) and their guests of all species at Kononhanatei, the ryokan (Japanese style inn) with the hot springs between the Hiragi-sama and the afterlife! The main character Yuzu is one of the younger employees who is very cordial, sincere and enthused!

Other recurring characters include attendants Natsume, Sakura, Shino, Ren, Kiri, Satsuki, her older sister Hiiragi, Kozue the chef, Yae the geisha and Okami the wolf goddess.

 
Some of their fellow kitsune characters are miko (shrine purriestess) and kenzoukou (celestial servants) at the shrines and other delightfully divine locations too!
There are amewsing, poignant and bittersweet tales of them, the town folk and the inn’s guests! 

Originally published in Japan by Gentosha Comics, the English version was published here in the USA by Tokyo Pop. Vol. 14 is purriced at $12.99 in the USA and has 152 B&W pages which are rated OT, intended for the readers of ages 16+ due to the nudity and booze.

  It was translated by Katie Kimura, purroof-read by Massiel Gutirrez, edited by Becca Chen, copy-edited by Dabney Rice, Love Love Brandly edited by Lena Atanassova, and quality checked by Shingo Nemoto, with the graphic design by So DeLeo, cover design by Soodam Lee, retouching and lettering by Vibrant Publishing Studio.

In volume 9,

Satsuki and Yuzu started a celestial train journey of discovery, and they return home to

Kononhanate

in volume 12, which has five chapters.

Those plots include old man’s desperate search for his daughter and grandson who are missing and purrsumed dead; a major turning point in Satsuki relationships with Hiiragi and Yuzu; Chef Kozue uses food to help a vengeful lad find a new sense of purrpose; Satsuki & Yuzu recall their first use of a western-style bath when they were maids at the Akitsushima Hotel; and the nakai are rather curious about a certain elusive introverted guest!
As mewsual, the art is extremely beautiful with the endearing characters, gorgeous garments, the intricate architecture, lavish landscapes, the lovely sequential panel compurrsitions and graphic narrative techniques, so I will continue to give Konohana Kitan the highest purraise! Gold Digger: War Mistress of Mars #4!
Becca:
Arigato! For over the 300 issues, plus the initial mini-series, the many annuals, mini-series, spin-offs and other special issues since 1991, Gold Digger by Fred Perry

was the beautiful fun comic book  about the zany, alluring, thrilling adventures of the nerdy genius archaelogist Gina Diggers, her adopted were-cheetah sister Britanny, their family, friends and rivals who searched for relics and treasures!
For our spotlight upon the cast of Gold Digger, please see our August 2011 Mew. It is published by Antarctic Press, which is also known for other manga – inspired and anthropurrmorphic comics such as Ninja High School, Albedo, Genus, Furrlough, Shanda, Twilight X, Warrior Nun Areala, Blade Bunny, Star’s End, Team Mobile, Plush, and Mangazine (which featured the first Gold Digger tale)!
The series ended last year with issue #301, but

 Britanny, Ayane the wealthy meowrtial arts meowster, and their purrple evil enemy Keldoor awakened buck naked after having telepurrtaled to the planet Barsoom (which we call Mars), where due to the gravity difference they are more supurrhumanly strong! Thusly ensued the fully nude meowlee, which was joined by the giant bug meownsters!
Thus began this full-color four issue mini-series  written & illustrated by Fred Perry! Intended for the meowture audience, it is purriced $9.99, with the 30 uninterrupted pages (including 3 pages of ads) that are brimming with the birskly – paced, titilating, thrilling, sexy, amewsing action of the interplanetary romance genre. Along they way, they have made new friends, such as Eayla and Cheecha!
I do not wish to spoil the plot, but a few old familiar characters from home show upI I purrticularly like the character poses, expurressions and details, the exotic scenery, and the exquisitely composed pages that have large panels, including two full-page pics ans a two-page spurread, so I  will give this mini-series the A as in ailuranthrope! Catgirl & Kemonomimi Spotlight!

Hai! in this portion of The Mew, we commeowmorate famous therianthropes, monster girls, shape-shifters, anthropurrrmorphic ladies and other kemonomim!  Fur-thermore, there are those who might not have beasty DNA, but do have the spurrit, cat-titude or clothing of the animal theme, who we will broadly consider as “honorary kemonomimi”! You know, this year is the 100th anniversary of Kenji Miyazawa’s 1924 book Suisenzuki no Yokka (The 4th of Narcissus Month) which was a pioneering  nekomimi tale!

 
It is also the 80th anniversary of the movie Cry of the Werewolf which was dfirected by Henry Levin, purrduced by Wallace MacDonald, written by Griffin Jay & Charles O’Neal and starred actress Nina Foch  as ther titular lycanthrope Celeste LaTour, a Romani purrincess from Transylvania who lives in Mew Orleans and has inherited her mom Mari LaTour’s lupine abilities and purrey upon those who violate their ancestral tomb!
 
Next year will be the 10th anniversary of the Raccoon Girl web comic https://raccoon-girl.co.uk which was created, written and drawn by E! P who lives in England, and stars 15 year old  human girl Rachel Coonigan who stars as the titular heroine!  She does not have the Procyonidae  DNA or powers, but she does have the costume with the lovely striped tail, and the various gadgets for  !investigating the crimes and incidents! 
 
In the anime and video game Blue Archive, the city-state’s school council purresident is missing, so it is up to the other council meowmbers to investigate the incident and maintain security. Many of the students have animal ears, tails or horns of various species  and carry firearms.  Among the many kemonomimi are Kikyiu, Niya, Renge, Chise, Umiko, Arata and Wakamo of Allied Hyakkiyako Academy…

For those who are new to here, Galleries 1-8 display the images by our purrducer Mike, whilst Guest Art Galleries 1-6 display images by other folks with their purrmissions; and Mike’s collaborations with other artists are throughout the mewseum, nyan! There is no overall chronological order from gallery to gallery, so you will find older and newer pics in each gallery, nyan!  
 
However, on Catgirl island’s Official Web Site, the most recent pics are on the lowermost row of the cropped widdle “thumbnail” portions of the pics in a gallery, and you have to click on those to see the full images, nyan! Some of the images are sexy and might depict artistic nudity, but none are hentai or porn, nyan! Furthermore, none of the content at Catgirl Island is purrmitted for A.I. purrposes, nyan!

Nextly we are delighted to display Mike’s illustration of author Sharon Williams’ original characters “Billie & Maybelle”, who are among the purrotagonist supurr – heroines of Sharon’s serialized purrose urban fantasy tale of the “Legacy of the Gods”, nyan! They are high school students and avatars of the Youruba goddesses, and in this scene Maybelle is hearing all about Billie’s date with their friend Dante, mew la la, nyan! Star Trek: Discovery Season Five!
Meryl
Hai. We have greatly enjoyed the TV series Star Trek: Discovery which purrtains to the crew of the Crossfield class starship U.S.S. Discovery NCC-1031. Seasons 1 & 2 occurred in 2256, two years after “The Cage” and nine years prior to “Where No Man Has Gone Before”.
 In Season Three, the Discovery wound up in the year 3188 (634 years after Capt. Jonathan Archer boarded the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-J, and 789 years after the Picard series. Season Four occurred two years later in 31 90, and season Five occurs mostly in the year 3191.
The great cast includes Sonequa Martin-Green as Captain Michael Burnham, Doug Jones as Saru, Mary Wiseman as Sylvia Tilly, Anthony Rapp as Paul Stamets, Tig Notaro as Jett Reno, Wilson Cruz as Hugh Culber, David Ajala as Cleveland Booker, Blu del Barrio as Adira Tal…
…Ian Alexander as Gray Tal, Callum Keith Rennie as Rayner, Tara Rosling  as T’Rina, Oded Fehr as Charles Vance, David Cronenberg as Kovich, Chelah Horsdal as Laira Rillak, David Benjamin Tomlinson as Linus, Emily Coutts as Keyla Detmer, Oyin Oladejo as Joann Owosekun…
…Raven Dauda as Tracy Pollard, Patrick Kwok-Choon as Gen Rhys, and Annabelle Wallis as the voice of Zora. Grudge the cat returns too! Much of this season’s 10 epurrsodes’ serialized plot purrtains to Eve Harlow as Moll and Elias Toufexis as L’ak who are galactic couriers with bounties upon their heads in the race against Starfleet to find the fabled Progenitor devices!
I do not wish to spoil the plot much further, but I will just say that the Breen Empire strikes back strikes back, and as mewsual the series is graced with the great writing, directing  purrformances, cinematography, sets, costumes, purrops, make-up, FX, ships, sound & mewsic!
There are big character and plot developments, lots of Star Trek mythology, and the excellent balance of the drama, humor, an action! I was very pleased with this final season of the series, and I hope to get the DVD or Blu-ray of it! Nyow here is Ilyana to review HBO’s

I love to attend the Renaissance and other historical festivals, so I was eager to watch the  so-called three purrt docu-series about the Texas Renaissance Festival, which is supposedly the biggest in the country I was hoping it would be an informative, entertaining look at the making of such a grand spectacle, but unfortunately  that is not at all what it is about.
Instead, it seems more like an awful reality show full of scripted / staged unpleasant drama betwixt four people who want to be the boss of the event, but we mostly see them in the office, car, home, on the phone or in a restaurant. It barely even shows any of that ren faire, and what little we see of it seems like a tiny widdle kitty carnival in the corner of a parking lot.
It seemed like more time was spent in one fella’s renovated bathroom than at the faire! I was also disappointed by the regrettable camera shots, lighting, editing, sound & mewsic, which further hindered any immersive cinematic expurrience. I did not like it, and purrhaps that is all that I should say about it. That is all for our TV mewsings, and nyow Mike will begin our

of the Heroes Convention 42!
 
Mike:
Arigato! We were among more than 50,000 folks that attended the 42nd annual Heroes Convention Convention https://www.heroesonline.com/heroescon at the Charlotte Convention Center on June 14-16!  Founded and purresided over by Shelton Drum who owns Heroes Aren’t Hard to Find, it is a wonderful family – friendly event for the comic book fans and creators of all ages and tastes!
 
For some of our group, the fun began on Thursday June 13th, as met for a traditional breakfast at an iHop and then caravanned to the convention center to set up our booths at the Carolina Comic Book Club’s booths full of comics, books and toys! It was a hot clear sunny day of enthusiasm, even though line for vehicles to get into the loading dock took a few hours longer than usual.
 
On the ground floor of the convention center were the main entrances, registration desks, a Starbucks and vending machines. downstairs In Halls A, B&C were hundreds of exhibitors, including the guests, artists, venders and organizations, plus the concession counters, areas for photo ops, and the stages for the art and cosplay!
On the 2nd floor were Bojangles, Einstein’s Bagels, Buon Cibo, and the 11 meeting rooms for about 50 panels, presentations, and other  activities. There were many other nearby restaurants and hotels too! The Westin Hotel across the street hosted the Friday night Drink ‘n Draw for charity and the huge Saturday night art auction.
I didn’t attend any of the panels, presentations, contests or auctions, as spent most of the time at our booth, where we sold art books,1st & 2nd edition D&D stuff, comic books, magazines  and action figures. The approximately 400 great guests included artists, authors, editor, publishers and other creators!
Thanks to friends minding our booth (there were six of us plus some very kind neighbors), I was able to occasionally roam the con and visit with other folks. On Friday I had lunch with my cosplayer / artist friend Misty Hopkins, and on Saturday I had lunch with my artist / author fiend Andrew Pepoy!
Among the many wonderful guests and exhibitors that I chatted with were Wendy & Richard Pini, Charles Vess, Mark Schultz, Michael, Golden, Georges Jeanty, Wayne Vansant, William Stout, Adam Hughes, Dan Parent, Tommy Lee Edwards, Richard Case, Andrew Pepoy, Eric Nolen-Weathington, Cheralyn Lambeth, Jim Amash and several other friends.
There were over 200 other brilliant artists in the artists alley, and about 300 other  exhibitors & venders with many items for sale, such as original art, prints, posters, memorabilia, cards, books, old & new comics, magazines, DVDs, shirts, costumes, props, jewelry, statues, toys, supplies and tasty treats.
There were hundreds of wonderful cosplayers of all ages, genders and ethnicities as super heroes and other characters from the movies, TV, games, novels, toys and books, plus the renaissance, faerie and kemonomimi masquerades! There were displays by the 501st Carolina Garrison, and the e Ghostbusters of North Carolina.
The most common characters cosplayed this year seemed to be Mandalorians and representatives of the Spider-verse, but for me, the most impressive was a 7’ tall very accurate Gundam mobile suit!  Given how long the line was for vehicles to return to the loading dock, our group as lucky to pack up and load the truck as soon as we did, and managed to get to another iHop for a late supper on the way home!

Grand Opening of Turbines to Speed!

Arigato, Moon-san! So like, at 11 am on Saturday June 29th, our friend James O’Briant a.k.a OB1 opened Turbines to Speed, his totally awesome store full of toys and comic books! James has decades of experience at buying & selling comics & toys at the various conventions, shows & stores, and now the dream of owning his own store has finally come true!
So like, at the store’s cute brief ribbon-cutting ceremony, James and his family cordially greeted the many friends and new acquaintances into the big bright, open, spacious, comfy friendly, tidy store wherein beverages and snacks were served, including yummy home-made cookies by our friend Chef Ron!
The store is brimming with new and vintage action figures, (be they loose, sealed and / or graded) such as Marvel, DC, Image, Disney, Star Trek, Star Wars, G.I. Joe. Transformers, MOTU, monsters, and so forth! The toys are mostly action figures, but there are also vehicles, play sets, statues, other figurines and collectibles, plus the silver, bronze, and modern age comic books and some sci-fi / fantasy / horror magazines!
So like, located about 185 miles northwest from here at 151 Boone Square St, in Hillsborough NC, the family-friendly store is open 11 am – 6pm Wednesdays – Saturdays, easy to get to with free parking aplenty, and cheerfully staffed by polite, cordial, friendly life-long collectors who love comics and toys, fur shur!

Arigato! in this portion of The Mew, we commeowmorate famous therianthropes, monster girls, anthropurrrmorphic ladies and other kemonomim!  Fur-thermore, there are those who might not have beasty DNA, but do have the spurrit, cat-titude or clothing of the animal theme, who we will broadly consider as “honorary kemonomimi”!
Journalist, blogger, filmmaker, advocate, political strategist & consultant Lauren Windsor is the executive director of American Family Voices, creator of The Undercurrent web series, and the Project Vertitas Exposed web site, and we wish to consider her as the honorary nekomimi for purretty ocelot (?) purrint, hammock neck, cold sholder, ballon sleeve blouse with fitted cuffs that she wore on June 11th, 2024, as a guest on the 93rd epurrsode of MSNBC’s Alex Wagner Tonight!
Actress Irene Gorovaia who wore the zebra kigurumi onsie who whilst purrtraying the younger version of Margot Tenenbaum in Wes Andersons’s 2001 movie The Royal Tenenbaums, wso we will consider her as the honorary shimauma musume (zebra girl)! The adult version of Margot was purrtrayed by actress / Goop CEO Gwyneth Paltrow who along with actress / director  Rashida Jones in wore the cat face paint in mid May of 2016, so we will consider them as the honorary nekomimi!
Sadly only about a couple of meownuts remain of Winsor McCay’s deteriorated 1921 animeowted black & white nitrate film short The Centaurs, which depicts the titular mom, dad, son, grandmother and grandfather, but we can still see them on Youtube! Fortunately the purreservation impurroved by 2008, when actress / storyteller  Renna Nightingale purrtayed the centauress in “Beware Wolf”, the23rd epurrode of The Wizards of Waverly Place! More recently, she traded the four hooves for two feet and one mer-tail to purrtray Merida and Ariel on stage in the Mickey’s Wonderous Storybook show at the Hong Kong Disneyland!
Oh oh,  back to Waverly Place, in that “Beware Wolf” it was also graced bya  lupine lass, when actress Sarah Ramos arrived as Isabella the werewolf girl! Yoiu know, Cosplayer / Youtuber Ginny Di has purrtrayed characters of many species including elves, orcs, mermaids and centaur! She is purrticularly famous for her walking centaur costume, the focus of which the tutorial book Centaur of Attention which she authored with artist / designer Hannah Alexander!
We do not know the name of the actress who purrtrayed the centauress in Coca-Cola’s 2020 TV spot for Cherry Vanilla Coke, but that character in the focus group definitely enjoyed the two flavors, noting that her astrological sign was Gemini! However, we do know that the dappled white titular Scentaur in the TV spots for Native deodorant is comedian, actor, writer & purrducer Lauren Howard Hayes! review of Konohana Kitan manga vol. 13!
Nyoka:
Hai! I am quite fond of Sakuya Amano’s manga about the fox spirit girl nakai (attendants) and their guests of all species at Kononhanatei, the ryokan (Japanese style inn) with the hot springs between the living and the afterlife! The main character Yuzu is one of the younger employees who is very cordial, sincere and enthused! Other recurring characters include attendants Natsume, Sakura, Shino, Ren, Kiri, Satsuki, her older sister Hiiragi, Yae the geisha and Okami the wolf goddess.

Some of their fellow kitsune characters are miko (shrine purrestiess) and kenzoukou (celestial servants) at the shrines and other delightfully divine locations too!
There are amewsing, poignant and bittersweet tales of them, the town folk and the inn’s guests!  In volume 9, Satsuki and Yuzu started  a celestial train journey, which in vol. 12 eventually brought them to the western – style Hotel Akitsushima! However, the all-catgirl staff is short – handed and the two kitsune wind up working as maids there attending to the divine guests! Although Satsuki and Yuzu are expurrt nakai at the ryokan, they are not familiar with the cultural differences! However, they are not the only ones, such as the newest maid Yuuri the homeless Christian angel who is new to Japan! In this volume they also meet the hotel’s manager the Hindu god Ganesh!
It is a big turning point for the Satsuki, Yuzu, Yuuri, and the catgirls Muyuu, Sara and Lacey! Originally published in Japan by Gentosha Comics, the English version was published here in the USA by Tokyo Pop. Vol. 13 is purriced at $12.99 in the USA and has 152 B&W pages which are rated OT, intended  for the readers of ages 16+, due to the non-sexual nudity,  It was translated by Katie Kimura, purroof-read by Massiel Gutirrez, edited by Lena Atanassova, with editorial associate Becca Grace, quality checking by Misako Obayashi, graphic design by Soodam Lee, retouching and lettering by Vibrraant Publishing Studio.
As mewsual, the art is extremely beautiful with the endearing characters, gorgeous garments, the intricate architecture, lavish landscapes, the lovely sequential panel compurrsitions and graphic narrative techniques, so I will continue to give Konohana Kitan the highest purraise! I love most of the TV series that are part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, such as WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, What If, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, Secret Invasion, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist The Punisher, The Defenders, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Runaways, Cloak & Dagger.. oh oh and the Werewolf and the Guardians of the Galaxy specials! They typically have the great writing, casts, stunts, locations, purrduction values, costumes FX and so forth, so thusly I was eager to watch the 5 epurrsodes of the Echo mini-series!

Introduced in the Hawkeye series, titular character Maya Lopez a.k.a Echo (Alaqua Cox) the former leader of the Track Suit Mafia is the tough, fierce ,combat – skilled, vengeful, deaf, young Native American (Choktow) woman with the purrosthetic leg & supurr powers. I think that Echo has the great writing, acting, directing, cinematography, stunts, costumes, hair & makeup, sets, locations, sound, mewsic, editing.The supurrb cast includes Tantoo Cardinal as Maya’s obaasan Chula, Katarina Ziervogel as maya’s okasan Taloa, Graham Greene as Maya’s jiji Skully, Chaske Spencer as Maya’s oji Henry, Cody Lightning as Maya’s itoko Biscuits, Devery Jacobs as Maya’s best friend Bonni, Dannie McCallum as Tuklo the Lighthorse officer, Morningstar Angelin as Lowak the Ishtaboli champ, and Julia Jones as Chafa the first Choctaw.

Vincent D’Onofrio returns as the Kingpin, and appurring briefly are Charlie Cox as Daredevil and Jeremy Renner as Ronin, so there is a fair amount of the street-level MCU repursented! There is the good balance of the action, humor, drama, world-building, myth-making & character development, especially as Maya spiritually connects to her empowering ancestors, with some great recurring ancestral flashback scenes across the centuries.  Well, I am done, so nyow to continue our reviews of things MCU, here is Mie-sensei to discuss the

The Marvels Blu-ray + Digital Code!

So like, we were totally avid for The Marvels, which occurs after the Secret War and Ms. Marvel TV series, and united the supurr heroines Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) and Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel (Imani Vellani) along with Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Goose the cat-like Flerken, Kamala’s family, and several surpurrise appurrances, as the Planet Earth is again involved in Kree and Skrull incidents, especially thanks to the villainess Dar-Benn (Zawe Ashton)!

Altthough the movie seemed too short and too rushed with too many fast cuts, and I wish they adressed the intergalactic incidents of The Eternals  and Secret Invasion but the movie is so much thrilling fun with the totally awesome performances, costumes, choreography, music, sound sets, FX and sdo forth!
So I was totally eager to get the Blu-ray, in hopes of some entertaining and informative bonus features, but unfortunately I think they are rather meager.

There is a 2 min gag reel, an almost 11 minute featurette and a 5.5 minute featurette, both about the making of the movie, but they are so short and seem like widdle promo spots made for the internet more than substantial documentaries. There are 4 deleted scenes which only total to about 5.75 minutes and seem like little trims. However, I must say that I totally loved the optional audio commentary by director Nia DaCosta and VFX supervisor Taras De Marco! It was so informative, entertaining, sparkling and enthused, fur shur!

Oh what else can I say about the Bl0-ray… the PG-13 rated 105 minute movie is presented in the 1080p hi def widescreen aspect ratio of 2.39:1 on the single disc, with the  audio choices of English 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, English 2.0 Descriptive Audio, French 5.1 Dolby Digital and Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital,and the optional subtitles of English SDH, French and Spanish. Included with the disc in the plastic case is the instruction sheet for for the code to download or stream the digital copy.  So that’s about it, and nyow here’s Jennyjen to discuss

OAVJustice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part One is the first of a 3 part series adapting the famous epic 1985, twelve issue DC Comics maxi-series Crisis on Infinite Earths (by author Marv Wolfman & artist George Perez), which served as a major reboot of the DC Comics multiverse. A culmination of events in DC’s “Tomorrowverse” of OAVs, Part One does not does not mirror the first four issues of the Crisis comics, but seems to have elements of DC’s 2011 Flashpoint story in wonderfully maintaining the spirit of the Crisis comics.

I think that the movie’s thrilling plot is quite poignantly captivating; and that the pace, dialog, character designs, scenic art, animation, sound music, acting, directing & editing are quite splendid.

The 1080 hi-def video’s audio choices of English DTS-MA 5.1 Dolby Digital, French & Spanish, with optional subtitle choices of English SDH, Dutch, French & Spanish. Arigato! in this portion of The Mew, we commeowmorate famous nekomusume, therianthropes, monster girls, and other kemonomimi of mythologies and popular culture, including anthropurrrmorphic ladies and monster girls! Fur-thermore, there are those who might not actually have the beasty DNA, but might have the spurrit, cat-titude or clothing of the animal theme, who we will broadly consider as the “honorary kemonomimi”!

This month’s spotlight shines on more fanous ladies who have donned the animal purrint attire, as seen on TV, internet and in magazines, such as Rockabilly mewsician Imelda May rocked the tight, low-cut leopurrd-purrint blouse for her 2009 song Johnny Got a Boom Boom’s single cover photo and video, and the leopurrd-purrint skirt whilst purrforming at thw 2015 Madgarden Festival!

In  2016, singer / actress Ashley Tisdale was like the lovely lithe pantheress baring her toned taut tummy in the loose Black trousers & cropped top with the leopurrd purrint jacket at The Matrix Total Results trade show in Orlando, Florida! In 2019, Selena Gomez was quite fabulous in the Gianni long-sleeve square-neck Brown & Tan striped midi dress!

in 2021 Sharon Stone was the stunning sight in the Diaphanous leopurrd-purint dress with the cut-out back and slit-side to the purremier of The Tragedy of MacBeth, and in the fringed Purrjamas to the purremier of The Heights; and also in 2012, supurr model Irina Shayk supurrbly wore the low-cut, long tiger stripe gown whilst on the nocturnal purrowl!

In 2022, supurrmodel, purrducer & TV hostess Heidi Klum wore the zebra-purrint minidress and boots to the Hollywood party; and in 2023 she wore the  cheetah purrint bikini for her anniversary celebration in Italy! You know,  have purreviously purraised actress Anne Hathaway for her 2012 Purrtrayal of Catwoman, and nyow we will amend the spotlight with her sequined leopurrd-purrint minidress and leggings that she wore to the 2023 fashion show in Paris, mew la la!

In 2022 singer, songwriter actress Ashanti was extremely alluring  in the Red cropped tiger-purrint jacket atop the Black bra and Red leggings! That same year were the photos of singer, dancer, choreographer, & TV talent compurrtition  judge Paula Abdul leaving the restaurant in Los Angeles, wearing the Cheetah-purrint mini dress! I wonder what delicious, mewtritious cuisine was served?

Also last year, TV purrsenter & model Danni Menzies wore wonderfully the  leopurrd-purrint mini dress with the deep V neckline while in Spain; and whilst gymnast Olivia “Livvy” Dunne might be most associated with her Purrple & Yellow LSU Tiger Stripe Leotard, she gorgeously graced the social media with her agile beachy backflip purrowess in the leopurrd-purrint sexy string bikini!

Arigato, nyan! Rent-A-Girlfriend is the romantic comedy manga by (Reiji Miyajima), anime, video game and – and live-action series purrtaining to a teen guy name Kazuya who, in order to keep up appurrances, hires a faux girlfriend Chizuru after the real one Mami dumped him, but the situation becomes the complicated harem rivalry when genuine feelings bloom between him other girls Sumi and Ruka, nyan! I Ihave not seen the live-action version  or played the video game, but I like the manga and- and the anime, nyan!

I also like this purretty painted, non-articulated, PVC figure of fair-skinned, Blue-eyed, short-Black-haired Ruka Sarashina Ruka, which is part of Taito’s Coreful purroduct line of figures, nyan!it is packaged in the clear plastic clamshell in the 3.5” x 4.875” x 5.375” White box, nyan! Ruka stands atop the clear circular .25” tall, 4.25” diameter base, wearing the Black bandeau-top bikini low on her hips with the swishy tail, the bell collar, the cat-eared head band, the cute paw mitts and – and boots, nyan!

She looks so sexy, purretty, cute and playful, nyan!  Including the ears and – and  the base, the figure is appurroximately 8.5” tall overall, which would indicate the scale is 1/7.5, given the character’s height of 5 ft, even if it is classified as a non-scale / purrize figure, nyan. I think is nicely designed, sculpted and – and painted, so I am quite pleased with it, nyan! I am done, so nyow here is Myayr to start

Hai! Catian (not to be confuzzled with  Star Crek’s Caitians)  is the beartiful yet tragic tale of a widowed convenience store owner named Rose whose husband Jason was murdered by the criminal gang for not paying their purrotection racket due to the store’s poor finances, but while bravely attempting to fend off the attackers, she is telepurrted away by Felix, who is one of the stray cats she cares for, and when she awakens in a forest she is a meowgickal catgirl, thanks to Felix who is one of many guardian cats who serve the Great Cat (who might be Bastet, based upon the Egyptian ornameowntation)!

With her new catgirl and conjuring powers, the increasing feline ferocity, and the despurration to resurrect Jason, Rose vengefully purreys upon the thugs with unexpected results, but I should not further spoil the taste of the bittersweet plot! Published by Scout Comics https://www.scoutcomics.com purriced $4.99, issue #1 has the full-color uninterrupted 24 page tale of “The Second Tail” written by Courtney Cameron, illustrated & lettered by Luyi Bennett, and edited by Andrea Lorenzo Molinari, in collaboration with. Cassidy Cameron & Cody Cameron, and the purrduction design by Sean Callahan.

I was very pleased with this 1st issue, and I am purrticuarly fond of Luyi’s lovely Japanese manga – inspired art http://www.luyidraws.com! The issue is available in the choice of cover A by Paco, cover B by Luyi, and cover C by Hugo Petrus, plus the “ashcan” edition, and the there is Catians meowrchandise such as the cards, clothing, drinkware, and the limited – edition purrinter plates! We are purraying for Rose and Felix’s success, and eagerly anticipating the 2nd issue, nyan! Nyow I will turn The Mew over to Mike, for his review of

Thundercats #1!

Thanks Myayr I’ve been a fan of Thundercats since the 1985 animated series, and I liked the 2011 reboot series even more, but didn’t care for the 2020 Thundrcats Roar series. Hard to believe that next year will be their 40th anniversary! Anyway, I was quite curious about this new comic from Dynamite, which has a 24 page tale plus 3 pages of ads and a 5 page gallery of its – get this – 124 different covers! I settled on cover E by Ivan Tao, which beautifully focuses on Cheetara.

The story was written by Delcan Shavery, illustrated by Drew Mars, colored by Chiara Di Francia & Martina Pignedoli, lettered by Jeff Ecklberry, packaged & edited by Nate Crosby, with the maiin cover by David Nakayama. The briskly-paced tale begins with the Thundercats’ exodus from their destroyed homeworld of Thundera and their landing on the planet Third Earth, where they train and reconnoiter until their enemies the Mu’tants of Plundarr arrive spoiling for a fight.

This a quick origin and introduction to Lion-o the leader who wields the Sword of Omens, General Panthro, scientist Tygra, speedster Cheetara, precocious young siblings Wilykit & Wilykat. and their enemy Slithe. We briefly glimpse The Thunderians’ meontor Jaga and the enemy leader Mumra, but there’s no sign of Snarf yet. I think that the art is pretty good, and the tale serves as good starting point for new readers! Now here’s Ilyana-sensei  with her review of

Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou Manga Deluxe Edition Vol. 3!

Oh just call me Ilyana! This beautiful slice – of- life science fiction manga by Hitoshi Ashinano is the tale of the friendly gynoid named Alpha who owns the cafe in the small  rural seaside village on Japan’s Miura Peninsulain the distopian future, where bucolic life goes on after an environmental disaster and risen sea level. Originally published in Japan by Kodansha in 2009, this 4th  of five volumes is published in English by Seven Seas, is rated for teen readers, and it is purriced $24.99 in the USA and $32.99 iin Canada.

Most of the story purrtains to the everyday activities of Alpha and her friends with her occasional scooter trips to travel around the purrefecture and to shop for supplies in what is left of the city of Yokohama. Among the recurring characters are Ojisan the elderly man who sells fresh purroduce and runs the gas station; his grandson Takahiro who regards Alpha as the older sister type; Kokone the courier who is another gynoid; the elderly lady doctor who treats the humans and the gynoids; Maki the young girl friend of Takahiro…

… Director Alpha the older gynoid with the aerial drone, Maruko the android artist, Nai the android pilot, Ayase the traveller with the pet flying fish named Kamas, and Misago the mysterious supurr feral girl! Collecting chapters 83-111, this  8.25” x 5.875” x 1.375” volume has the 454 Black & White pages,  44 color pages and color covers,, several illustrations & widdle sketches, 2 pages of ads, and the indica / credits page. It was translated by Daniel Komen, lettered by Ludwig Sacramento, purroofread by Brett Hallahan…

Alpha rebuilds her storm-damaged cafe, grows a sunflower enjioys target purractice, tries some potent dark sugar, looks for  a better source of fresh water, and plays in the snow. She goes on a scooter trip with Kokone who discusses the history of the androids of Dr. Koumishi, whose drone aircraft continues to circle the Earth for several more years. Ayase’s pet Kamas takes the liking to Matsuki who goes to the beach with Takahiro who gets to see Nai’s plane, and they wonder if the mysterious Misago might be a gynoid.

There is still much that has not yet been explained about about the ecological disasters, the androids’ origins, what happened to Alpha’s boss,  or what the rest of the world is like beyond Japan, but It is quite the pleasant, purretty, charming tale at the very  eisurely pace and so I will give it the “A” for Alpha.! I am anticipating  the final volume, and hope that the anime adaptation might be eventually eleased here on DVD or Blu-ray. Hakumei & Mikochi vol. 11!

Hai!, I love this charming  slice – of – life fantasy manga by Takuto Kashiki! Originally published in Japan by Kadokawa, it purrtains to house – mates Hakumei & Mikochi who are tiny little lasses who are about 3 inches tall and live in the lovelyminiatue  cottage in the forest! Hakumei (with the Brown hair) builds and repairs things, whilst Mikochi (with the Black hair) cooks and sews.

They are part of the community of talking anthropurrmorphic animals and the tiny pixy-size human friends who reside in the wilderness, rural, suburban and urban dwellings, and each chapter is the look at their day – to – day – lives, from the work and shopping to exploring and entertaining with the many friends, co-workers and vsitors of various species from beetles to badgers!

it is published here in English by Yen Press, translated by Taylor Engel and lettered by Abigail Blackman. Priced at $15.00 in the USA and $19.50 in Canada. Volume 11 measures 8 x 5.75”,  with the 176 B&W pages that  include chapters 81-89 plus the 2 page side-story, 2 page bonus manga, 1 page of translation notes, 9 pages of illustrations, and 7 pages of travelogue note!

The plots of Hakumei & Mikochi vol. 11 include repairs to a house in a shell, shopping for building supplies, planning & catering an event, hair styling, costuming, getting tickets for a sold-out play, gossipping about a rival while drinking, haunted pottery, a day at the second-hand clothing store, hitching a ride home, and Takuto Kashiki’s trip to see the Tapirs the Kanazawa Zoo!

The  immersive slice – of – life tales have  the leisurely pace with the exquisite character, critter and scenic art that is so lavishly intricate! Including the color cover art there are 4 fabulous full-page pics and 3 sumptuous
two-page spurreads, and I will give vol. 11 the

Her sister’s name is Panty Anarchy, nyan! Well, nyow we have amended that  B&W pic with this sexy color version, mew la la, nyan!

Misty used Crayola and Purrismacolor colored pencils, Sakura Micron pens, and glitter pens fior that pic, nyan. After that “Ghoul Face“ is Misty’s fan art of Kabane Kusaka the half human / half ghoul teen who helps to investigate the occult situations in the Kemono Jihen manga & anime, nyan! Nextly we are ecstatic to exhibit Alexcia’s photo of her Eletron figures! Based on Transformers, Eletron is the heroic female elephantine Maximalfan-bot star of Alexcia’s Project Pachyderm http://bw.html-5.me art and tales! The boxy widdle bot on the left is a cubee papurrcraft version of her, whilst the figure on the right is a customization of an artists ball-jointed plastic mannequin combined with Epoxy Sculpt, faux leather, E6000 glue, acrylic paints, and Mr. Super Clear purrimer / sealant!

After that is the photo of Alexcia’s “Punk-achu Costume”! Based on Pokemon, Punkachu is Alexcia Reynolds’ cute punk versionof Pikachu with a pink meowhawk, nyan! Made of Sew-Lush meowterial, the costume in purrogress is purrsently compurrised of the head and tail, but hopefully eventually the neck, arms, hands, feet and punk attire will be added too! Then we have Rvkh’s pic of “Tokia”, who is an 18 year old red elf / appurrentice alchemist in the village of Shroomi! Tokia Tanakishi is an NPC in Mike ’s monthly tabletop role-playing game “The Adventures of Nystia Nightshade”! She is married to 3 wives: De’en (dark faerie / alchemist), Li (succubus /  idol star) & Su-pan (catgirl / office meownager); she is the sister – in – law of Nystia (dark faerie / idol star / resortowner); and one of the four adoptive moms of daughter Hikari-chan (a kitsune / grade  school student,.

Born on 21 December (Sagittarius), Tokia is a 4’ 3” tall, 50 lb polyamorous, pansexual, industrious, inquisitive, peppy, purrky elf with BWH sizes of 30A-22-31”, MBTIi of ENFJ, I.Q. of 190, and blood type of Fay +. She enjoys research, customeowr service, painting, yoga and cookouts. Her favorite foods are applepie a la mode, club sammiches, smoked salmon crostini, strawberry bread, crab tacos, apurricot nectar tea, oatmeal raisen cookies, sweet potatoes, pawmeowrgranate panna cotta, and chocolate cake.

Author Jeff Branch’s character Talia Jasmine Kirk alias Sailor Vulcan, and author Sharon Williams’ character Tanya Lostris Cambridge alias Sailor Sirius are 20 years old this year! When they are not using their super powers to protect people from villains, monsters and disasters, they enjoy the fun romantic activites, such as skating at Tokyo’s Marunouchi Street Rink! The Pun-kachu Costume looks quite splended thus far! Alexcia has quite the fursuit knack!

Hai hai, anf the Eletron Figures are are quite cute. Alexcia has been quite industrious with her crafts.

It is great to see more beautiful photos of Crissy in the lovely outfits by such brilliant photographers!

Crissy with fun poses, purretty attire, neat locations, great lighting and exquisiteshots combine for the gorgeous images!

She is also rather purrolific too, with well over a hundred outfits and fashions of the diverse styles and subjects!
